Bria communities

Bringing seniors together

ux / ui / art direction

I led the re-design for a family of senior communities in British Columbia. It was a unique opportunity to showcase and capturing the liveliness and authentic nature of each distinct community, and a place to easily find and request more information.

One community, many options

Although Bria is one brand, it’s actually made out of unique, individual communities, each with their own distinct flavour and branding. The clean, contemporary design allowed these unique characteristics to shine through, and the monotone colour scheme complemented the brand elements while providing a strong, overall brand experience. This theme was carried through the entire site, even on the custom google map.

Real, authentic stories

The design needed to promote an active, fun, golden community. We wanted to shake the stigma that’s often attached to elderly communities, and reflect the benefits of being part of an active, healthy community. Using a mix of immersive photography and video, I were able to visually communicate these ideals instantly before users even have to read anything.

With a contemporary, clean design we allowed these assets to shine throughout the user journey. An active blog was introduced to deliver authentic news and stories to customers. As the key audience was the children of the seniors, we made sure there is a robust and engaging news and social media section.

This is a unique website which will require a more modern browser to work!
